Where do you live? |
There is no Upper Freehold Township Post Office, therefore, all residents of the Township have mailing addresses that do not reflect the Municipality they live in, but only their Post Office designation. Post Offices that serve Township residents are Imlaystown, Cream Ridge, and Allentown. A majority of residents of Upper Freehold receive their mail from the Allentown Post Office, this means they have an Allentown mailing address but reside in Upper Freehold. Other Post Offices in Upper Freehold are Imlaystown and Cream Ridge.
When is it important? Voter Registration Recording Birth Certificates, Marriage Licenses, and other Vital Records. Most important for your safety when you have a need to call 9-1-1 you must give the Municipality you reside in.
Don't assume that you know where you live, it is important so please confirm your residence. If you own your home and pay taxes to Upper Freehold, then that is where you live. If you are a renter and do not receive a tax bill please take the time to check a map to see if you reside within the boundaries of Upper Freehold Township or the Borough of Allentown. If you have a Cream Ridge address you may live in Plumsted, Ocean County.
If you have any question concerning your address please feel free to call the Municipal Office at 609-758-7738, the Tax Collector can check your street address and confirm you residence. Most other offices can consult a street map and provide you with the same assurance.
