Upper Freehold Township has a State Certified Emergency Operations plan. In the Event there is a community wide emergency situation,

or a State of Emergency is declared, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) will be activated. The EOC is located in the township

municipal building, 314 County Rte. 539. To obtain information relative to a specific hazard, click on the FEMA website www.fema.gov.

If you are physically discomforted due to a protracted power failure, contact the EOC (609)-758-7738 Ext 220, or call the Emergency

Management Coordinator's cell phone (609)-548-7191, or NJ State Police - Hamilton (609)-584-5000 ext 5296.

In the event telephone service, land line or cell phone is non-operative (unable to dial 9-1-1) in a life threatening situation), school buses

and township trucks all have two-way radios as well as all emergency vehicles. Look for an official vehicle or have some one go to the

Allentown First Aid Squad (70 Route 526 609-259-2311).
