APPLICATION FOR RE-SALE OR RENTAL OF PROPERTY

A $100.00 fee is required when applying for re-sale or rental of a house...

At this time, an appointment is scheduled with the Housing Inspector.

Applicants must call Freehold Area Health Department, (our contracted health department), to schedule

a visual inspection of their septic system.  Also, the applicant is required to have their water tested by a

state certified lab.  The results from the water test must be given to the Freehold Area Health Department,

(732-294-2060).  After all the results from the water and septic have been approved, the FREEHOLD

HEALTH DEPARTMENT WILL ISSUE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE. Once the

housing violations, if any, have been completed and corrected, and the certificate of compliance has been

issued by our health department, the Housing Inspector will issue the CERTIFICATE OF

OCCUPANCY  for your property.
