State Statue requires that all dogs be licensed over the age of (6) months or older must be licensed. All dog licenses
expire on December 31 of each year, regardless of when the license was purchased in the previous year. A late fee
of $25.00 will be enforced February 17, 2012 for all previously licensed dogs.
License must be issued in the name of an adult member of the household.
In accordance with the State Department of Health, we can not issue a dog license for a dog if the date of their rabies
certificate expires before October 31st of the current year. You can attend any rabies clinic in the State of New Jersey.
Please consult your newspaper for a scheduled rabies clinic in any municipality in the State of New Jersey, but you must purchase
their license in Upper Freehold Township
If your dog had a license in Upper Freehold the previous year, you will receive your renewal form in the mail during
the last two weeks in December. Please be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope for the return of your
dog license If this is the first time you are licensing your dog in Upper Freehold Township, please fill out the application
enclosed with proof of updated rabies, neutering information and return to Upper Freehold Township, Animal Control,
