KW Solar PV & Battery Installation
Contractor-Installed January 2007 Total Project Cost: $90,000 NJ "CORE" Rebate: $53,000 E-mail the Owner "We have always been conservation minded and this was the ideal solution for our need to have back-up power when the electric grid goes down. We have livestock and they need water and it seemed that power was always down in worst weather. The alternatives of back-up generators were problematic and the cost of the solar system was reasonably close to a diesel generator system . Now we never worry about the well losing power or the furnace or sump pump failing in the worst storms. Total win-win for us and the environment. The SREC's were a great bonus as well." Residential

KW Solar PV Installation
Contractor-Installed December 2009 Total Project Cost: $70,000 NJ "CORE" Rebate: $17,500 E-mail the Owner "After seeing our monthly utility bills consistently rising, we felt that the time was right to install a PV system and become less dependant on the utility for power. After looking into the state and federal incentives and programs that are available, it was an easy decision to follow through with. Not only did our electric bills disappear, but we are helping the environment at the same time. We are thrilled with our decision and definitely recommend installing a solar electric system to anyone that is energy and environmentally conscious." Residential

KW Solar PV Installation
Contractor-Installed May 2008 Total Project Cost: $90,000 NJ "CORE" Rebate: $60,000 "We built our home in 2002. We built the house as an Energy Star® certified house. Our heating and cooling system is a ground-source Geothermal dual zone heating and cooling system. Our home is completely electric. Therefore, installing a solar system gives us a maximum benefit. The system has performed very well. I have a spreadsheet showing our monthly utility bills for 3 years prior to installation and monthly information since the installation. Our system is a ground mount." Residential
