TOWNSHIP OF UPPER FREEHOLD
MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF WEST CHAMBERS ROAD TO INFANTE WAY IN THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER FREEHOLD
COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, STATE OF NEW JERSEY
WHEREAS, the Township Committee has received a request on August 23, 2007 from Township residents Joseph and Cheryl Infante, to change the name of West Chambers Road to Infante Way.; and
WHEREAS, the Township Committee has considered and approved the request because the Infantes are the only residents living on West Chambers Road and has determined that there would be no adverse impact upon the Township in granting such a request.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE of Upper Freehold Township in the County of Monmouth and State of New Jersey hereby approve the following street name change:
SECTION 1: The street name change is as follows:
PRESENT STREET NAME: WEST CHAMBERS ROAD
NEW STREET NAME CHANGE: INFANTE WAY
SECTION 2. That the Township Administrator shall file said Ordinance with the United States Post Office, the State DOT, the Monmouth County Sheriffs Office and its 911 emergency dispatch service, the Monmouth County Planning Board, the Upper Freehold Township Planning Board, the Upper Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustment, the Upper Freehold Township Board of Health, the Upper Freehold Township Tax Assessor, the Upper Freehold Township Tax Collector, the Upper Freehold Township Public Works Department and the Upper Freehold Township Office of Emergency Management.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts thereof which are inconsistent or conflict with the provisions of this ordinance or any part thereof are hereby repealed to the extent of said inconsistency or conflict.
SECTION 4. If the provisions of any section, subsection, paragraph, subdivision or clause of this ordinance shall be judged to be invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such Order or Judgment shall not affect of invalidate the remainder of any section, subsection, paragraph, subdivision or clause if this ordinance, or any other ordinance which is referred to herein, and to this end, the provisions of any section, subsection, paragraph, subdivision or clause of this ordinance be judged invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final adoption, publication and the filing of said ordinance with the above entities in Section 2. herein all in accordance with law.
