The Upper Freehold/Allentown Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse needs your help.
We currently do not have enough members participating in our monthly meetings and therefore
are unable to make important decisions regarding substance abuse prevention in our schools
and community. Monmouth County requires us to hold ten meetings per year (typically 1 to
1-1/2 hours long) and we have to submit our agenda and minutes to them every quarter. Our
next meeting is scheduled for January, 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Upper Freehold Municipal building
courtroom. The Alliance needs individuals who believe in our events/programs and are committed
to showing up at and participating in our meetings. Without you the Alliance cannot exist.

In compliance with the new Citizen Service Act(P.L.2009, c.141), Updated information has been placed on this web site
under Board and Committees; the information provides a list of the current membership of each group and informs the
public of any existing vacancies. This Act further establishes a formal process for citizens to sign up to volunteer to serve on
these bodies by providing an application form to be completed and submitted.
