ANJEC Grant Submitted-Upper Freehold Planning Board

The Upper Freehold Planning Board has applied for an ANJEC Grant in order to prepare a Nitrate Dilution
Study and Water resources Protection Plan.  This submission has been endorsed by The Township Environmental
Advisory Committee and the Township Committee has committed matching funds to the project. The “Priority Areas”
are The Villages of Imlaystown, Hornerstown and the Yardville-Allentown Road Corridor. Rural communities in
particular have the ability to explore alternative approaches to waste water treatment and water quality improvement
without the threat of inappropriate sewer systems or uncontrolled growth.

If we are awarded the grant, we would need volunteers to assist the project team. If you would like to be involved
please send e-mail to landuseuftnj@optonline.net subject: ANJEC Grant Team.
